CharitAble Maitum is a youth-led organization in Maitum, Sarangani Province which was established on March 29, 2020. The organization originally had 7 members who are aged 16-20 and their sole purpose was to pursue the initiative of conducting a donation drive to help the citizens of Maitum who are in need in the midst of the pandemic.
Before the organization's 5th month, it was already recognized by the Sangguniang Bayan Members of Maitum and became an official youth organization in the municipality.
On the organization's 5th monthsary, 8 new members were added to the team. As of now, there are already 20 members.
As of October 2020, the organization has already finished two projects: Project ENDCOV and Radyo Para Sa Baryo — the fundraising activity done during the Buwan ng Kabataang Sarangan 2020 together with Zero Hunger Alabel and other youth in Sarangani Province. And just recently, they launched "LOADi Ko!: Para sa Online Class ng mga LODI na Mag-aaral", which aims to help ease students' online class struggles by providing ₱100 worth of load.
CharitAble Maitum is composed of different individuals who has their own views and opinions in life but one thing's certain... We are united to spread hope, share love and help others through being CHARITABLE because together, we are ABLE!
